Dream High!!!

Recently got hooked on to a new korean idol drama called “Dream High”. I have not been watching alot of korean dramas but this is certainly one of my favourite idol dramas of all time because this drama has the ability to make your emotions go on a roller coaster ride….and not forgetting the stars in this show, which has one of my favourite korean singer, IU.

So cute, young and talented individual which reminds me of Boa lol…other than watching IU act in a cute manner which i believe its how she behaves in real life, theres tons of great songs in this drama which makes me enjoy this drama even more!

Watching the second last episode of the drama on my Cowon J3 makes me kind of sad that the season is ending soon…have to wait for next year Jan for 2nd season of Dream High! Heres a song by IU that was in Dream High

Higher Quality Youtube Videos!

I recently saw this post from the neowin forums so i decided to try it out. It says that for most videos that are on youtube, you just add a &fmt=18 at the back of the link and you will get a higher quality video of it instead of a default blurry version.

For those of you who are lazy to continously add the &fmt=18 to the back of each video, you can install a user generated javascript on your browser so it will automatically convert it to use the higher quality version of the video in youtube. It works on Opera and Firefox with Greasemonkey Extension. Try it and you will find yourself watching better quality videos on youtube!

First Week Of Work….

Finished my first week of work, feeling sianz and very tired after work and going home everyday. The number of working hours for this job is incredibly long and the pay also doesnt really justify the number of hours that you are working. I am fine with weekdays working hours but in weekends must work 10-12 hrs arrrrr….super sianz. Don’t know if i can get through this type of working lifestyle, haiz… But i am determined to buy a PS3 once i saved enough money and hope that a price drop is announced in Asia especially for Singapore. Since the US is getting the 80gb exactly the same price as the 40gb price, i am expecting Singapore to follow suit as well.

Fun Session At KTV

Yesterday was quite a fun session at ktv, with ramdhan, aidil, jiahong and hong hui. It was my first time hearing hong hui, ramdhan and aidil singing. As always, hong hui was always full of energy and be overly excited when singing so he tends to have overexaggerated voices appearing. I can’t even concentrate and hear my own voice when singing 背叛 with him as i tend to laugh lol.

And as expected of aidil, he has a nice voice and can be quite a singer if he trains his voice. But nevertheless, jiahong was still the best among us as from the last time when i went to ktv with him, his diaphram power has increased so he has more power when he sings. I still have a long way to go in improving my voice sigh….but i will never give up lol!!!!

Oh man, my admiration for 杨宗纬 has just got higher. His ability to sing while conveying his emotions effective through his singing is simply amazing. His singing can just touch right through your heart and make you cry. I think that the hard part about singing is not about reaching the notes of the songs that you sing but rather your ability to convey the right amount of emotions that the original writer of the song wants it to be.
